Hello there!

We are the Burtons, the family behind Opaline Events.

Catie, designer, stylist and lover of any reason to throw a party. I have been designing and throwing events for over 6 years. Anything from weddings to corporate events to birthday parties, I am your girl. You will be working with me about 95% of the time, so we will have lots of time to get to know each other.

Troy, builder, muscle, ultimate dad and emotional support husband. Chances are you will see him at some point when working with us, because let’s be honest… without him this all wouldn’t be possible. Troy and I have known each other since we were 5 years old and all my childhood dreams came true when he asked me to marry him back in 2021. He is most definitely the glue that holds us together.

And lastly the most important member of the family, Laynee. She is a spunky little babe who brings us all the joy and calls all the shots. Having her finally made us turn this dream into a reality and open Opaline. Without her, our life would be quite boring. Plus, she’s pretty adorable to look at.
